As the dust settles on another AHR EXPO, we couldn't be more proud of the turn out for the AutomatedBuildings.com's FREE Education Sessions we helped produce this year. Our partnership was particularly special as it coincided with the celebration of AutomatedBuildings.com's 25th anniversary.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to Ken Sinclair, a true industry legend, who has been the driving force behind AutomatedBuildings.com for the past 25 years. Ken introduced his new editorial board, which includes Cochrane Supply CEO Scott Cochrane.
Standing Room Only at AHR
The AHR24 agenda featured 14 FREE Educational Sessions spread over two days, covering a wide range of essential topics concerning the building automation and HVACR industries. Our program delved into areas such as staffing and recruitment trends, emerging cloud-native technology, data center management, cyber security best practices, as well as emissions reduction benefits and efficiency practices, and more!
We had the privilege of spearheading an exceptional educational program, providing attendees to insightful discussions led by experts at the forefront of innovation. Cochrane Supply and AutomatedBuildings.com remain committed to advancing the industry through continued collaboration, and we're thankful for the participation of everyone involved.
Cochrane Supply AHR24 Highlights
One of the highlights of our program was the stellar turnout for the session "Cloud-Native: A New Way of Doing Everything" hosted by CEO Scott Cochrane.
According to David Sciarrino, V.P. Business Development for KTERIO, the benefits to cloud solutions will reward those who start now, in order make the significant changes to their operations that help them run more efficiently sooner rather than later.
During our session on "Staffing in the Industry", Kim Brown, Chief People Officer for Cochrane Supply explains the importance of employee retention, supporting and rewarding employees who continue education and upskilling, while committing to mentoring fresh talent to brace for turnover as older workers begin to age-out.
Cyber security in the built space is one of the most concerning issues across all industries. According to Greg Fitzpatrick, Business Development Leader for Cochrane Supply, Cyber Harmony signifies a call to action in promoting collaboration among individuals, organizations, and project stakeholders to fortify our buildings against growing cyber threats.
